A 5* luxury hotel in Jakarta seeks an outstanding Director of Food & Beverage to oversee their large-volume Food & Beverage.

With more than 500 rooms and top-class specialty restaurants, large banquets, and catering facilities, this very busy city center hotel seeks an experienced professional who will report to the EAM F&B.

This person has to be an exceedingly talented and innovative Food & Beverage professional who excels in current market trends.

Our client is looking for someone who is dynamic and enthusiastic, with a lengthy background in managing and working with well-known Celebrity chefs and recognized trendy restaurants. Our client is not looking for a traditional all day restaurant model, but you must be someone with an entrepreneurial approach and who will be responsible for creating world class standards, impeccable service, and at the same time deliver an outstanding Wow factor to the guests.

The ideal candidate will drive for perfection and championing change, turning vision into action and be a strategic thinker. He/she should be able to manage a team to deliver fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and professional service.

In addition to the above, the Food & Beverage Director must have experience in recognized trendy restaurants in SE Asia and Internationally. Demonstrated knowledge in contemporary and stylish cuisine from around the world is essential.

Other important requirements include a good understanding of managing costs and being analytical, hands-on training and leading by example, scheduling and forecasting around the business needs and a strong team leadership approach.
