The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to manpower planning, recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits, performance management, training & development, employee and industrial relations.
- Implement highly effective HR strategies, policies, and action plans that aligns with the company goals and business revenue ambition, with the ability to address and overcome all the challenges.
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Implement effective performance management systems in line with Group policy, including performance appraisal, career development, and succession planning.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, while promoting a positive and conducive work environment.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law including Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Trade Union Act, managing poor performance, misconduct, employee grievances, disciplinary action, conducting domestic inquiries, preliminary investigations, etc.
- Drive organizational development initiatives, including training and development programs, employee engagement activities, and change management processes.
- Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Responsible for the review, development and implementation of systems, procedures and processes to improve the operational efficiency of the HR & Administration functions and ensure compliance to the Group policies and practices.
- Build good public relations between the Company and the local council, communities and the government authorities.
- Look into employee's welfare and regularly conduct assessment to ensure a conducive working environment for all staff.
- To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned by the superior from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
