JOB SUMMARY
Serve as a strategic partner and one-stop center to provide advice regarding human resources planning and management. This includes recruitment and mobility management, career management and succession planning, talent development, performance management and promotion, employee engagement, structure review and job evaluation.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Sourcing & Recruitment
- Provide advice and direction in the facilitation of the current and future manpower requirements for the delivery of the Divisions objectives
- Follow-up with Recruitment and Mobility Unit on the placement, sourcing, and/ or recruitment status and updating respective Division and Department Heads
Talent Development
- Facilitate the identification of development needs and interventions/programs with Division and Department heads and other line leaders (in collaboration with HR Development Section) to close gaps in Functional and Leadership competencies identified during assessment and/or yearly performance reviews for their staff
Career Management & Succession Planning
- Facilitate and partner with the respective Division and Department Heads and line leaders on staff career management and the identification of staff for progression including promotion and mobility
- Facilitate the implementation of appropriate training and development for staff and identified talents in line with the agreed Individual Development Plan (IDP)
Performance Management & Promotions
- Facilitate and manage the implementation of the Performance Management Process (PMP) at the Divisions and Departments to ensure adherence to the PMP processes by ensuring that performance planning, mid-year and year-end performance reviews and appraisals are conducted in an objective, professional and fair manner
- Manage the promotion process for staff within the Division and Department working closely with the Promotions and Performance Management Unit within the Business Partnering & Sourcing section
Employee Engagement
- Act as the Focal Point of contact for Division and Department on matters related to employee engagement, particularly on HR policy communication and implementation, managing conflicts, responding to staff queries and complaints to ensure a harmonious working environment
- Co-facilitate HR initiatives and recommend/ monitor intervention plans
Organization Structure Review / Job Management / Manpower Planning
- Lead and collaborate with relevant departments to conduct the manpower planning exercise for the Department, Regional Office and Branches
- Co-facilitate with the Organization Structure and Job Evaluation Unit in the development, review or realignment of the appropriate organization structure for the Division and Department to meet their strategic and operational objectives
- Collaborate with the Job Evaluation team to assist the Division and Department in the development and/or review of job descriptions (JD) and coordinate job evaluation sessions to enable a fair/objective grading of the positions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian Citizen
- Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government from any local or overseas higher learning institutions would be an added advantage.
- Strong HRBP background (minimum 10 years), analytical and people/conflict management skillset.
- Experience in Business Partnering, Talent Management, Organizational Development, Branch Manpower Planning , Coaching, and Employee Relations.
- Strong presenter and communicator with experience partnering with C-level / HOD stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Words, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience in using SAP HR system is an added advantage
- Ability to see a task through from assignment to completion with minimal supervision
