We Are Hiring: HR Executive / Assistant HR Manager – ENG IBS (Manufacturing Industry)
ENG IBS, a rapidly growing heavy-steel manufacturing company serving the IBS construction sector, is looking for a multiskilled and independent HR professional to manage the full HR spectrum for the entire organisation.
This role is suitable for someone confident to operate as the sole HR person and comfortable handling everything from recruitment to IR/ER to foreign worker management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-spectrum HR operations: recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll inputs, leave administration, performance management, and employee relations.
- Handle HR compliance: Employment Act, IR/ER documentation, show cause letters, memos, disciplinary processes, and labour office matters.
- Oversee foreign worker management: permit renewals, hostel arrangements, attendance, and coordination with Immigration/JTK.
- Support production manpower.
- Prepare HR reports and support management on manpower planning and organisation structure.
- Build employee engagement and maintain a positive workplace culture.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in HR, Business Admin, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing HR is highly preferred.
- Strong multitasking ability and able to work independently as the sole HR representative.
- Good communication skills with proficiency in Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia, and English (Chinese-speaking candidate will be an advantage due to internal communication need).
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage confidential matters professionally.
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for Assistant HR Manager.
