We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable HR Payroll Executive to join our team. This role is responsible for managing employee records, processing payroll, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to maintain confidentiality, and has a solid understanding of Malaysian payroll and HR practices.
Responsibilities:
Employee Records Management
- Maintain accurate and complete employee records, including contracts, job descriptions, performance reviews, and training records
- Assist in onboarding by collecting documentation and entering employee data into the HR system
- Update employee records promptly for changes such as promotions, transfers, or terminations
Payroll Processing
- Prepare and process monthly payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions
- Manage and update payroll systems including timesheets, leave records, and attendance data
Compliance and Reporting
- Prepare and submit reports to government agencies (e.g., tax returns, statutory filings)
- Ensure compliance with all labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies
- Support audit exercises and internal reporting
Employee Communication
- Communicate payroll-related information to employees (e.g., pay slips, deductions, benefits)
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized HR files and documentation
- Assist with HR operations tasks as required
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in payroll and HR operations, preferably in MY payroll.
- Familiar with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables)
- Experience with HR/payroll systems such as BIPO, Orisoft, SAP, or similar is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle confidential information
