About the job

The HR Business Partner for Plant Manufacturing is a strategic leadership position that partners closely with Plant leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support, including managing complex employee relations, overseeing talent management initiatives, and driving organizational development in the manufacturing environment. The position requires leading workforce planning, succession programs, and performance management while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role requires effective collaboration with all organizational levels to drive business success through people-focused initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the set-up of a new manufacturing plant from hiring to putting people related processes in place.
  • Develop a good understanding of the business and partner business leaders to implement HR strategies that align with business imperatives and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Be a trusted advisor and provide guidance on talent management and engagement, workforce planning, leadership development, performance reviews and other HR related matters.
  • Partner with the respective HR COE teams, adopt a data-driven approach and gather insights to identify patterns and root causes to develop tailored HR solutions that drive performance and engagement.
  • Act as a champion for company culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Review onboarding process to assimilate new hires into the organization and set them up for success.
  • Guide and support leaders and teams through organizational growth and changes.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure smooth execution of HR operations.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and legislative changes, proactively making necessary adjustments to company policies and practices and ensure full compliance with local labour laws.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, ensure fair resolution in accordance with company policies and local employment laws.
  • Continuously review HR processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the Senior Director, Human Resources, Asia in HR initiatives or projects that align with business goals.

Requirements:

  • More than 6 years of solid HRBP experience
  • Experience in plant experience
  • Strong understanding of the local labour regulations.
  • Proven ability to handle employee relations and manage stakeholders and employees at all levels.
