Job Description

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop/Create department plan/strategies to realize an environment where staff can work productively in terms of Human resources based on management policy with a short, mid-term perspective and execute them upon the approval of the Management.
  • Plans and manages all human resources activities, including recruitment, retention, compliance, compensation, benefits, payroll, attendance, performance appraisal, training, and personnel affairs, to promote employee engagement, motivation, and the development of a strong corporate culture based on the strategies and plans.
  • Liaises with senior management to understand the company's needs and build strategic plans to address them.
  • Maintain good relationships with each department, related Corporate Lawer, government agencies, business partners, etc for a smooth business execution.
  • Promote employee engagement to move in the same strategic direction to achieve the company's Vision and Mission.
  • Identify the necessary education and establish a training program for staff to encourage their skills and knowledge required for smooth business execution to realize higher productivity and higher efficiency.
  • Establish a scheme to be able produce sufficient successors to strengthen MMSB's organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including labor laws, the Companies Act, the Personal Data Protection Act, etc.
  • Coach and Manage the team to meet the demands of their job and achievement of their business objectives.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes engagement and well-being.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and to plan the workforce.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive work environment.
  • Leads and manages HR teams, and drives their continuous improvement. Manages a diverse team across many disciplines.
  • Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Optimize compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent while managing costs.
  • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, productivity) and implement improvements for better efficiency.
  • Support business performance by aligning HR strategies with financial goals and growth plans.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource Management.
  • At least 5-8 years of Human Resources experience gained with a well-structured organization, with at least 3 years at a managerial level.
  • Familiar with labor law, company act, and other related laws and compliance regulations.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • High level of confidentiality with high ethical standard is a must.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment, well-organized, effective communication skills in interacting with people at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and planning skills with good business acumen and a strong sense of business governance.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, able to lead and work as a team leader, and work in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to converse in any Chinese dialects would be an advantage.
