Dover Court International School is a private international school in Singapore with British heritage. It serves nearly 2,000 students aged 3 to 18 on a green 12-acre campus, offering inclusive education tailored to diverse learners through its unique Pathway programme. The HR Officer supports the effective end-to-end delivery of Human Resources operations within the school, ensuring compliance with Singapore employment legislation, and contributing to a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

This role delivers efficient and data-driven administrative support across recruitment, employee relations and HR systems.

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview arrangements and background checks.
  • Assist in the preparation of employment contracts and onboarding documentation.
  • Facilitate onboarding and induction programmes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

HR Operations

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases incompliance with data protection requirements.
  • Manage work pass applications (e.g., Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit), including renewals and cancellations where applicable.
  • Support HR documentation, including policies, letters, and reports.
  • Coordinate professional development programmes for staff.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries on HRpolicies and procedures.
  • Support the resolution of employee issues and disciplinary matters aligned with the school's policies.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Compliance and Policy Implementation

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Employment Act, MOM regulations, and statutory requirements (CPF, IRAS).
  • Provide administrative support during audits and ensure proper documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Support implementation of safeguarding and child protection policies in line with school standards.

HR Projects and Initiatives

  • Participate in HR initiatives such as employee engagement, professional development and CSR programmes.
  • Support organisational development and HR transformation projects where required.

  • Meet responsibilities regarding safeguarding health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant legislation and conform to professional and ethical requirements.
  • Any other appropriate duties as allocated by the HR Director.
