Job Description
- Lead plant-wide Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) programmes and initiatives.
- Manage SHE management systems and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Drive environmental management activities and ISO 14001 compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement effective mitigation measures.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Oversee emergency response planning and fire protection programmes.
- Manage contractor safety, permit-to-work systems and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver SHE training, competency development and safety culture initiatives across the site.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years SHE/HSE management experience within the past 10 years.
- NIOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Safety & Health.
- Hands-on experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Strong knowledge of HIRARC methodologies and risk management practices.
- Experience in incident investigation and emergency response management.
- Proven experience managing contractor safety and permit-to-work systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience liaising with DOSH, DOE and BOMBA.
- Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) status and manufacturing (FMCG) experience are advantageous.
