Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource & Administration Manager to lead and manage end-to-end HR and administrative functions at our manufacturing plant. This role will work closely with Plant Functional Heads and Head of HR to ensure effective HR operations, statutory compliance, and strong employee relations while supporting the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resource Management

  • Lead and manage all Human Resource and Administrative functions at the Plant.
  • Collaborate closely with Plant Functional Heads to provide strategic and operational HR support.
  • Coordinate with HR teams in the KL Office and Corporate Office on HR reporting, data submission, and policy implementation.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Act as a bridge between management and employees by addressing concerns, grievances, and workforce issues.
  • Support business growth through effective workforce planning, engagement, motivation, and retention of employees.

Industrial Relations & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labour laws, statutory requirements, and local authority regulations.
  • Handle Industrial Relations matters, including Domestic Inquiry investigations and proceedings.
  • Provide guidance to management on complex and sensitive employee relations issues.
  • Develop, implement, and administer employee relations and industrial relations policies and procedures.

Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with management to understand current and future talent needs, including recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and hiring.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pool for future hiring needs.
  • Organize and manage university engagement activities such as college visits and career talks (local and international).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Analyze compensation and benefits trends and propose competitive salary and incentive programs.
  • Oversee payroll preparation and ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • Administer employee performance reviews, annual increments, and related initiatives.

Training & Development

  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and internal career growth.

Others

  • Manage foreign worker hiring processes and related matters.
  • Undertake additional duties and HR projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and industrial relations practices.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or plant environment will be an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential matters with professionalism and integrity.
