This opportunity is based in Selangor supporting a large, internationally connected service operation with a strong focus on people strategy and organisational effectiveness.
Position Overview
The role partners senior leaders to align people strategies with business objectives across designated functions. It plays a critical role in strengthening leadership capability, workforce agility, and overall organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to plan, develop, and enable an agile, adaptable, and highly capable workforce, supporting both short- and long-term workforce planning and succession needs.
- Lead annual talent review and succession planning processes, including the management of calibration sessions, reviews, and follow-through actions.
- Identify employee development needs and ensure appropriate learning interventions, developmental assignments, and leadership programmes are implemented.
- Promote and embed the total rewards philosophy while supporting an integrated approach to managerial excellence.
- Advise leaders on people-related implications, risks, and solutions for business initiatives throughout the planning and execution cycle.
- Support compensation processes including base salary, short-term incentives, and long-term incentive programmes.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, internal policies, and regulatory requirements related to employee matters.
- Drive HR operational excellence by identifying process improvement opportunities and partnering with stakeholders to enhance efficiency.
- Provide guidance on workforce management, talent management, leadership development, and organisational change initiatives.
- Support leadership development activities, learning strategies, and HR projects that enhance employee engagement and performance.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Undergraduate degree; HR-related certification is preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive HR experience across multiple functional disciplines.
- Prior exposure to complex, matrixed organisations is advantageous.
Technical / Functional Expertise
- Strong knowledge of HR management practices and business operations.
- Proven experience in talent management, succession planning, and workforce planning.
- Solid financial and commercial understanding.
- Project management capability, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Coaching and advisory experience with managers and senior leaders.
