Job Purpose

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The role supports business objectives by managing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, HR compliance, and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resource Strategy

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the Company's business objectives.
  • Advise management on workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Recruitment and Talent Management

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain high-quality employees.
  • Coordinate employee induction and orientation programs.
  • Monitor staffing requirements and workforce planning.

Employee Relations

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee relations issues.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies.

Performance Management

  • Oversee the performance appraisal process.
  • Support managers in setting performance objectives and development plans.
  • Monitor employee performance and recommend improvement initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Administer salary reviews, incentive programs, and employee benefits.
  • Conduct market benchmarking to ensure competitive remuneration practices.
  • Ensure payroll processes are coordinated accurately and efficiently.

Learning and Development

  • Identify training and development needs across the organization.
  • Develop and implement employee learning programs.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, labour regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Manage HR audits and support regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Monitor changes in employment legislation and recommend policy updates.

HR Administration and Reporting

  • Maintain HR systems and employee databases.
  • Prepare HR metrics and management reports.
  • Monitor employee turnover, absenteeism, and workforce trends.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation administration.
