We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Group HR professional to join our team in Malaysia.
This role will be responsible for supporting and overseeing HR functions across BlockOffice and its group companies, with a primary focus on the Malaysia operations. The role will work closely with the founding team and business leaders across the Group to support talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, performance management, HR operations, and the development of HR policies and processes.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing environment, with the ability to manage both hands-on HR operations and Group-level HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
You will be working directly to our founding team for:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across BlockOffice and its group companies, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Support Group-wide talent acquisition initiatives and workforce planning across different business functions and entities.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and other HR documentation across the Group.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Support employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, probation, performance reviews, internal movements, and offboarding.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee performance and growth.
- Support the implementation and administration of Group-wide performance management and appraisal processes.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and support company and Group-level events.
- Prepare HR-related reports, workforce analysis, and other management reports for the founding team.
- Manage and process payroll and other HR administrative matters for the Malaysia team.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, policies, and employee experience across the Group.
- Provide HR support and advice to management and employees on day-to-day HR matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in headhunting, recruitment agencies, or talent acquisition is a strong plus.
- Experience supporting multiple business units, entities, or fast-growing organisations is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Labour Laws and statutory regulations.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Able to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of HR matters in a fast-paced environment.
