Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resource Senior Executive located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Hub Human Resource department provides leadership in the Human Resource (HR) function in serving the entities within the Alpha Hub.

1. Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team.
  • Review & maintain HR operational documents e.g., Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Guidelines, Service Agreements, Contracts of Employment, etc.

2. Legal Compliance & Governance

  • Compliance with all government divisions.
  • Provide research & consultation on legal aspects of Employment, Company and Contract law.
  • First level review of all contract templates before engaging external legal advice.

3. Training & Staff Engagement

  • Support employee engagement activities.
  • Assist HR Manager with training activities and projects.
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
  • Respond to employee queries on staff benefits e.g. group insurance, medical claims, leave entitlement etc.
  • Develop content to bring awareness to compliance matters, and other areas of professional development for staff, line managers and directors of the company.

4. Human Resource Information System (HRIS)

  • Assist with HRIS enquiries as and when needed.

5. Talent and Performance Management

  • Talent Identification and Development: Identify the talent needs of the organisation and develop strategies to attract and retain top talent. This includes creating career development plans and managing succession planning initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, ensuring that employees receive regular feedback and support to meet their professional goals.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with executives and hiring managers to align talent management strategies with organisational objectives, ensuring a robust talent pipeline.
  • Program Implementation: Design and implement innovative talent management programs that enhance employee engagement, learning, and development opportunities.
  • Data Analysis: Utilise data-driven approaches to assess talent management processes and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.

6. Payroll and Statutory Entities

  • Assist with Payroll and Statutory Entities and related matters as and when needed.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or certification in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in HR Management and HR Operations
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR-related compliance standards
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and professional team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Experience in faith-based organisational settings is an advantage
