About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Assistant based in Kuala Lumpur to support our growing international team. This role combines employee engagement, talent development, and executive support responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to shape culture across multiple regions while working closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement & Culture Building
Plan and execute team-building activities, celebrations, and cultural events to foster a vibrant workplace atmosphere
Drive initiatives to enhance employee morale, belonging, and cross-team collaboration
Create and maintain a positive, inclusive office environment that reflects company values
Internship Program Management
End-to-end management of the Future Star internship program, including recruitment, onboarding, and development
Build and maintain partnerships with top-tier universities across Malaysia and the region
Design structured learning paths and mentorship programs to maximize intern growth and conversion
Track program metrics and continuously improve the internship experience
University & External Relations
Serve as the primary liaison with university career centers, faculty, and student organizations
Negotiate and manage MOUs and partnership agreements with educational institutions
Represent the company at campus events, career fairs, and industry forums
Executive Support (Singapore)
Provide administrative support to Singapore-based leadership, including calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting arrangements.
Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for senior management
Act as a bridge between regional teams and headquarters, ensuring smooth communication flow

Strong project management skills — ability to juggle multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results
Outgoing and energetic personality — naturally connects with people, builds relationships easily, and brings positive energy to the workplace
Excellent communication skills — fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other regional languages is a plus
Cultural agility — comfortable working across diverse cultures and time zones, with sensitivity to different working styles
University relations experience — prior experience collaborating with academic institutions or running campus programs preferred
Flexibility and adaptability — willing to travel occasionally across the region and adjust to shifting priorities
