HR BUSINESS PARTNER (TALENT MANAGEMENT)
Charterhouse, Singapore are supporting a US MNC in their search for a strategic HR Business Partner for an individual contributor role, reporting to the Regional Head of HR as part of the regional HRBP team.
This will support a headcount of around 400 for Malaysia for the corporate and commercial teams and will be focused on the HR strategy and Talent Management / Retention.
This role will work closely with the Centres of Excellence to review and improve the talent, performance and engagement agenda in line with the business culture and direction.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Malaysia business leaders to establish a solid High Potential programme and succession planning map
- Identify performance issues and work closely with leaders to develop improvement plans, providing consulting and advice where needed
- Lead organisational design initiatives to ensure the structure is effective and the best talent is in the right roles
- Identify and skills gaps and performance issues and devise improvement plans
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition to identify talent gaps and how to pipeline talent effectively.
- Work closely with Total Rewards team to help t implement and communicate programmes
- Consider how to retain top talent with appropriate engagement initiatives such as team bonding and social events and engagement surveys
- Lead the resolution of Employee relations from end to end and ensure a satisfactory resolution is reached
- Identify diversity gaps and plan for solutions
- Ad hoc regional project support where needed
Attributes
- Data focused and able to translate to meaningful reports / presentations
- Excellent level of written and verbal English communication skills
- At least 5 years of experience in a Talent focused HRBP role in MNC environment
- Able to manage ambiguity and work flexibly where needed
- Degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred
