Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on and commercially minded HR Business Partner to support business leaders in driving people outcomes aligned with business priorities.

This role operates primarily at an operational and tactical level, partnering closely with line managers and business leaders on day-to-day people matters and ensuring effective execution of HR processes. It requires a hands-on approach, balancing operational delivery with practical HR advisory to support business needs.

As the incumbent builds strong business understanding and solid HRBP capability, there will be opportunities to progressively contribute to more strategic workforce, talent and organizational initiatives, in line with the evolving needs and maturity of the business.

What You'll Do:

Business Partnering & Advisory:

  • Partner with business leaders and line managers to support execution of people priorities aligned to business needs.
  • Provide pragmatic and timely HR advisory, balancing operational delivery, people considerations and business requirements.
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders to support team effectiveness, business continuity and delivery outcomes.

Performance Management & Employee Relations:

  • Provide day-to-day guidance on performance and disciplinary management, including coaching, development conversations, underperformance management and disciplinary processes.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations matters, including investigations and escalated cases where required, ensuring fair and consistent handling.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and employment-related requirements to support compliance and minimise people-related risks.

Workforce Planning & Talent Management:

  • Support workforce planning activities, including headcount planning, role scoping and hiring alignment to business needs.
  • Partner with managers to identify talent gaps, development priorities and capability-building needs within teams.
  • Contribute to talent reviews, succession planning and employee development initiatives.

Organization Effectiveness & Change Support:

  • Support organizational changes such as restructuring, team optimisation and evolving workforce needs.
  • Guide managers on change implementation, including communication, stakeholder management and impact considerations.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve engagement, productivity and overall team effectiveness.

HR Data & Insights:

  • Analyse people metrics and trends, including attrition, performance and engagement, to identify key themes and risks.
  • Translate HR data and business observations into practical insights and recommendations for business leaders.
  • Track and follow up on HR initiatives to assess effectiveness and support continuous improvement.

Policy, Governance & HR Operations:

  • Support implementation of HR frameworks, processes and initiatives within the assigned business unit.
  • Work closely with HR specialist teams, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Development, HR Operations, System & Culture to ensure smooth delivery of HR services.
  • Maintain confidentiality and sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and business information.

Mobility & Cross-Border Support:

  • Support internal mobility and cross-border/ international assignment matters where relevant to the assigned business unit.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth employee transitions and alignment with internal policies.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on business partnering, employee relations and stakeholder management.
  • Experience supporting organizational change, process improvement, or people-related initiatives, with the ability to guide managers through implementation and employee impact will be a strong advantage.
  • Exposure to HR analytics, talent management, organizational development and workforce planning will be an added advantage.
  • Good business acumen and ability to translate business priorities into practical people actions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Good understanding of employment legislation and labour law requirements, with the ability to provide practical recommendations and escalate complex matters where appropriate.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on deliverables.
  • Comfortable working with HR systems, data and manual processes, with the ability to organize information accurately and follow through on actions.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and metrics.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
