Relocation: Relocation from Malaysia to Dubai is required

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director currently based in Malaysia who is willing to relocate to Dubai and take full ownership of the HR function.
The HRD will lead both strategic and operational HR activities in Dubai, supporting business growth, strengthening HR processes, ensuring compliance and building a strong people function across a multicultural workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall HR function in Dubai and develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with the CEO and senior management on workforce planning and people strategy.
- Oversee Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits and HR Administration.
- Establish and improve HR policies, SOPs and HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable UAE employment laws and regulations.
- Develop salary structures, incentive schemes, benefits and performance management frameworks.
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, investigations and grievance cases.
- Lead workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and organizational development.
- Support the setup and expansion of the Dubai office and HR infrastructure.
- Manage HR budgets, payroll coordination and employee benefits.
- Build and lead the HR team in Dubai.
- Drive employee engagement and company culture across a multicultural workforce.
Requirements
- 10+ years of HR experience, with experience in a senior HR leadership / HRBP / HRD role.
- Strong experience in full-spectrum HR management.
- Experience in C&B, performance management, employee relations and HR operations.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance and employment practices.
- Experience in multinational or fast-growing organizations preferred.
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Experience in FinTech, Financial Services, Trading, Banking or Technology is an advantage.
- Currently based in Malaysia and willing to relocate to Dubai on a full-time basis.
Relocation
The successful candidate will be required to relocate from Malaysia to Dubai and work on-site. A relocation and employment package will be provided based on the final offer and company policy.
