Job Description

Our client, a fast-growing automotive manufacturer, is strengthening its HR function to support ongoing expansion and daily plant operations. They are looking for a hands-on HR Executive who can support both people operations and workforce administration on the ground.

This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth HR operations at site supporting recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and daily workforce needs, while working closely with management and the HR leadership team.

What You'll Support & Execute

HR Operations & People Support

Support day-to-day HR operations including employee records, attendance, leave, and general HR administration

Act as a first point of contact for employee HR-related matters and queries

Recruitment & Workforce Coordination

Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding

Support manpower planning and timely hiring to meet operational needs

Employee Relations & Engagement

Support employee relations matters including discipline coordination, grievances, and employee wellbeing initiatives

Help foster a positive and respectful workplace environment at site

Performance & HR Processes

Assist in performance review cycles, confirmation exercises, and basic HR reporting

Support implementation of HR policies and procedures

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian labor laws and internal policies

Maintain accurate HR documentation and personnel records

Operational Site & Workforce Administration

Support HR-related site functions including:

Workplace discipline coordination and safety support

Employee accommodation arrangements and welfare matters

Foreign worker documentation, permits, and basic administration

Site access coordination and general workforce support

Workplace upkeep aligned with 5S and safety requirements

What You'll Bring

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum 3 years of HR or HR operations experience, preferably in manufacturing, plant, or operational environments

Good understanding of Malaysian labor law and basic HR compliance

Hands-on, responsible, and comfortable working closely with operational teams

Able to manage a diverse workforce with professionalism and empathy

Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for cross-border communication
