HR Generalist
Salary: Up to RM 3,300.00
Employment Type: Full-Time (Includes 6-month probation period, with opportunity for permanent conversion based on performance)
Working Hours:Mon–Fri (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Sat (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Location: Bukit Tambun, Penang.
Job Overview
We are seeking a HR Generalist (Chinese speaker) with strong experience in end-to-end Human Resources operations, including recruitment, payroll support, employee relations, and HR administration. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented and familiar with Malaysian employment laws.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and offboarding
- Handle employee relations (ER) and provide HR advisory support
- Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and documentation
- Support payroll processing, attendance tracking, and leave management
- Ensure compliance with Malaysia Labour Law, HR policies, and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS)
- Assist in HR reporting and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in HR Generalist / HR Executive / HR Administrator role
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act and payroll processes
- Chinese Language speaking required (for internal and external stakeholder communication)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
