Job Summary
The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Duties & Responsibilities
End-to-End Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management.
- Coordinate background checks, pre-employment documentation, and onboarding to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage employee records, probation periods, confirmations, promotions, transfers, and exits.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee queries and support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Oversee performance management processes, goal setting, and development planning.
Employee Relations & Workplace Culture
- Provide guidance on HR policies, workplace ethics, and code of conduct.
- Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and manage disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Foster a supportive and engaging work environment aligned with company values.
Payroll, Leave & Attendance
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory compliance, and reporting.
- Manage leave and attendance systems, reconciliations, and sensitive employee data with confidentiality.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and recommend process improvements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Develop and maintain competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.
- Conduct market benchmarking to ensure pay equity and competitiveness.
- Manage employee benefits administration and address related inquiries.
Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps and training needs in collaboration with department heads.
- Plan and deliver learning programs, workshops, and leadership development initiatives.
- Oversee HRDF fund utilization and compliance for training programs.
- Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
HR Strategy, Policy & Analytics
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with Malaysian labour laws.
- Partner with management on workforce planning, organizational development, and strategic HR projects.
- Generate and analyze HR data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and manage HR budgets and reports for management review.
Audit & Compliance
- Ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements and coordinate audits with relevant authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
