HR Manager Automotive Manufacturing Plant (Selangor)

We are hiring an experienced HR Manager to support our state-of-the-art, high-growth automotive manufacturing plant in Selangor. This is a key leadership role partnering with plant operations to build a strong, future-ready workforce.

Location: Selangor, Malaysia

Experience: Minimum 10 years (with 35 years in manufacturing)

Industry: Automotive / Advanced Manufacturing

Growth: Large-scale expansion, automation, digitalisation, Industry 4.0 environment

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full HR operations for a modern automotive plant
• Partner with Plant Director and department heads on people strategy
• Manage end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning
• Oversee employee relations, IR/ER, and compliance
• Implement performance management, L&D, and career development programs
• Strengthen HR processes to support a rapidly scaling operation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR / Business / related field
• Minimum 10 years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of Local labour laws & IR/ER
• Experience with unionised environments is an advantage
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement
• Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working on the plant floor
