Job Summary
This position reports to the Head of Human Resources Datacom and will be responsible for the full suite of HR duties. You will advise on employee relations issues, including reorganization and performance management. You will interpret policies and procedures and advise and support other team members in the areas of performance management, compensation, organizational development, Talent Acquisition and Management. You will develop appropriate recommendations for management, using your observation of culture and knowledge of applicable local employment laws and practices.
Main Responsibilities
- Partner alongside the management team to provide HR support to optimize people, structure, processes, and culture with the goal of achieving business results.
- Implement HR policies and processes to ensure they are effective and relevant, and aligned to business and organizational goals.
- Manage headcount cost and resources jointly with the plant manager
- Ownership of hiring activities, ensuring timely onboarding of required talents for business purposes. This includes needs identification, sourcing, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and on-job-training arrangements.
- Work with finance and management team to establish suitable budgets for Manpower planning and control
- Plan and facilitate training programs target for performance strengthening and business growth; coordinate leadership development effort that fosters career progression and skills development.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations and related human resource activities.
- Support COE to drive initiative on learning and development, talent development, leadership development, succession planning and others.
- Responsible for labor and industrial relations, employee discipline and all related labor issues.
- Prepare and provide up-to-date knowledge of trends in labor market, compensation and benefits, regulatory changes, employment law and related HR issues
- Responsible for developing and achievement of HR metrics, monitor and report on insight to support business needs.
- Driving HR digital transformation and automation initiatives.
Qualifications and skills
- At least a degree in Human Resource Management /any discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 8 years of overall relevant experience in manufacturing environment, and at least 5 years of experience leading a Human Resources Team.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel with knowledge of Infotech System, SAP and HRIS system.
- Working knowledge of HR/ labor legislation applicable to workplace and the ability to act in accordance the HR policy guidelines, duty of care and other legal workplace policies.
- Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively under pressure.
- Team management experience, skilled in motivating and guiding team members.
- Able to execute plans that are aligned with business objectives.
- Experienced in working across cultures, able to navigate in a matrix organization with unstructured work nature yet proactively solving work issues.
- Good communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) with good command of English and local languages/s
- Displays professional maturity, strong integrity and trust, ability to keep information confidential.
- Results-oriented with strong cross-cultural skills.
- A team player, resourceful with the ability to multi-task, pleasant yet energetic personality with effective interpersonal skills and capacity.
- Skill in leveraging data analytics and AI technology is an added advantage.
