Job Description

Job Responsibility

Recruitment And Staffing

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new employees.
  • Work with department heads to anticipate staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.

Employee Relations

  • Foster a positive working environment through effective employee relations strategies.
  • Act as a mediator between employees and management to resolve conflicts and disputes.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

Performance Management

  • Design and manage the performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance-related issues.
  • Identify high-potential employees and develop career progression plans.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Develop and manage compensation structures that are competitive and aligned with the companys financial goals.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and manage annual salary review processes.

Training And Development

  • Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Implement leadership development initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

HR Policy Development And Compliance

  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect changes in labor laws and best practices.
  • Ensure that the company complies with all local, state, and federal employment regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks and other HR-related documentation.

Employee Engagement And Retention

  • Design and implement employee engagement strategies to enhance job satisfaction and reduce turnover.
  • Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and analyze results to improve workplace culture.
  • Organize and manage company events, recognition programs, and other engagement activities.

HR Reporting And Analytics

  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and strategies.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on key HR activities, such as recruitment, turnover, and employee engagement.
  • Use data to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.

Health And Safety

  • Ensure the workplace complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Work with safety officers to implement health and safety programs and conduct regular safety audits.
  • Address and resolve any workplace safety issues.

HR Strategy And Leadership

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the companys strategic goals from an HR perspective.
  • Lead the HR team, providing direction, mentoring, and support.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, HR) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
