About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to manage payroll processes and provide support in employee relations matters. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with both numbers and people. You will ensure accurate payroll processing and contribute to a positive work culture through effective HR support.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll (Primary Focus)

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with local labor and tax regulations
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions
  • Liaise with finance and external vendors on payroll-related matters and ensure proper documentation and reporting
  • Manage leave and attendance data for payroll processing
  • Handle payroll audits and support year-end tax reporting

Employee Relations (Secondary Focus)

  • Provide day-to-day support for employee queries on HR policies, compensation, and benefits
  • Support HR initiatives to foster employee engagement and a positive work environment
  • Assist in the resolution of employee concerns and coordinate with HR Manager on sensitive cases
  • Participate in onboarding, offboarding, and internal communications as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of HR experience, with a strong emphasis on payroll
  • Solid knowledge of labor laws and payroll compliance
  • Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, or local systems)
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
