What You'll Do:
We're seeking an experienced HR Team Lead, Payroll to lead a team of 10-15 professional. You will lead end-to-end payroll operations within our HR Shared Service Center. Oversee payroll processing across China region, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and manage a team to deliver accurate and timely payroll services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and motivate the team by acting as an escalation point when faced with complex issues/ problems.
- Support in Knowledge Transfer of any process/ business groups and acquired in-depth knowledge, as required.
- Identify, participate, or lead and carry out the continuous improvement initiative related to the whole employee lifecycle.
- Serves as the team's Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of Payroll.
- Lead and manage full-cycle payroll operations (monthly, off-cycle, final pay).
- Ensure accurate payroll inputs and approvals (salary changes, OT, allowances, benefits).
- Review payroll reports, reconciliations, and process documentation.
Who we are looking for
- Candidates with 6 or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the Shared Services Center industry is a plus.
- Able to write, read and communicate fluently in Mandarin.
- Proficient in HR software and tools, especially Excel and other data management systems.
- Possess excellent communication skills, leadership and attention to detail.
- Have an attitude and mindset that is rigorous, meticulous, enthusiastic, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
