You will develop and implement hygiene protocols and procedures to ensure all areas of the hotel meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene and comply with health and safety regulations. As a Hygiene Manager, you're not just ensuring cleanliness and hygiene – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Strategic Planning & Compliance: Develop hygiene policies and ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Lead the hygiene team and provide ongoing training to maintain performance and standards.
  • Cleaning Expertise: Apply knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment to ensure effective practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor cleanliness and hygiene levels, implementing quality control measures across all areas.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee hygiene supply budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Issue Resolution: Address hygiene-related concerns promptly to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications

  • Manager: Minimum of 3 years in a hygiene management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Safety, Environmental Health, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hygiene management, food safety, or sanitation leadership within hotels, resorts, or large-scale F&B operations.
  • Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, local health regulations, and international hygiene standards.
