SCOPE OF ROLE:
The Hygiene Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards across the hospitality operation, in accordance with local health regulations, HACCP requirements, and company policies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Monitor implementation of HACCP, GMP, and SOP requirements.
- Conduct regular hygiene inspections and audits.
- Monitor cleanliness of equipment, utensils, and food contact surfaces.
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, FIFO, and temperature control.
- Coordinate pest control activities and maintain records.
- Conduct hygiene and food safety training for staff.
- Investigate hygiene-related incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain hygiene documentation, reports, and audit records.
- Liaise with health authorities during inspections.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Certificate in Food Safety, Hospitality, or related field.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and local health regulations.
- Minimum 12 years experience in hospitality or F&B hygiene role.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
