Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled IAM Support Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is critical in safeguarding enterprise systems by managing user identities and access privileges across hybrid environments. The engineer will be responsible for administering and securing access through Active Directory, Azure, and Entra ID, while ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.
You will handle identity lifecycle management, user provisioning/deprovisioning, role-based access controls, and audit/compliance support. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and have solid expertise in cloud-based access governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems including Azure AD, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
- Handle provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts and enforce role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Implement and manage MFA, SSO, and other IAM tools to secure access across platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex IAM-related issues and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
- Leverage ITSM tools such as Salesforce Service Desk or equivalent to manage tickets and service requests.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring IAM processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management.
- Proven expertise with Azure AD and Entra ID.
- Strong understanding of identity governance, access management, and cloud security.
- Experience with IAM tools, MFA, SSO, and ITSM platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.
