Business Unit Introduction

Interactive Entertainment Group (IEG)

Responsible for the R&D, operation, and development of the company's interactive entertainment business including games and eSports. Through online gaming, live broadcasts, and offline eSports, IEG assists the company in leading the global interactive entertainment market to create better interactive entertainment content experiences for users.

Job Responsibilities:

A) Strategic New Business Development and Brand Collaboration

  • Quantitative Indicator: Identifies, builds, and manages key BD and brand collab to drive company growth through brand exposure and/or sponsorship value KPI.
  • Partner identification & acquisition: Research and secure new strategic partners, including businesses, tech platforms, and content providers, to drive revenue and expand market presence.
  • Consultative proposals: Develop and present tailored business proposals that clearly demonstrate the value of our platform and the benefits of collaboration.

B) Product Placement

  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients, brand partners and our internal teams
  • Ensure successful campaign execution by adapting strategies as needed
  • Onboard potential collaboration brands for our key product, Honor of Kings, Honor of Kings Esports and our lifestyle platform, Honor of Kings Benefits and drive success based on matching KPIs such as exposure and sponsorship value.
  • Analytical/strategic ability to market and promote our products for potential sponsors and collaborating brands.

C) Account Management & Retention

  • Foster long-term relationships with sponsors and brand partners.
  • Regularly update clients on campaign performance and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Build connections with media and creative agencies to expand our clientele.
  • Attend networking events to strengthen relationships within the industry.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 5+ years in partnerships, business development, media sales, or agency account management. Candidates with BD and/or partnership backgrounds in the gaming and/or tech industry are highly preferred.
  • Self-Motivated: Driven by career success, building partnerships and performance focused.
  • Network: Established contacts in the Malaysian brand partnerships ecosystem.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin skills are a plus.
  • Adaptable: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that responds to market changes.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong business acumen, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
