Role Description

This is a full-time role for an IETS Technician on a 1-year contract, located on-site in Butterworth. The IETS Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial water treatment systems and related equipment. Additional tasks include ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, monitoring water treatment processes, conducting routine system checks, maintaining records, and collaborating with the team to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of water treatment systems
• Experience with monitoring equipment, system analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Skills in data entry, documentation, and accurate record-keeping
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
• Communicates effectively and works collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic understanding of water treatment principles and processes is advantageous
• Diploma or technical certificate in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
