About The Role
As a CBRE Workplace Experience Manager, youwill be responsible for managing employees that oversee the delivery ofworkplace experience services. Examples of services include Concierge,Reception, Meeting & Event Management, and administrative office duties.
This job is part of the WorkplaceExperience function. They are responsible for providing world-class customerservice to the clients and visitors of a designated building.
What You'll Do
- Provide formal supervision toemployees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performanceevaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Coordinate and manage theteam's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, andcross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor andcoach as needed.
- Build and maintain a trustedclient relationship. Negotiate with clients, partners, and associates toresolve conflicting priorities.
- Ensure support provided by theteam is efficient and consistent. Suggest process improvement efforts on aregular basis. Assist with developing strategic solutions.
- Assess technological andtraining needs for Workplace Experience teams and clients. Always follow safetystandards with employees, clients, and vendors.
- Develop vendor partnershipswith the intention of cost saving efforts. Manage negotiations for contractservices. Confirm that all vendors have current proof of insurance andcontractual documentation.
- Oversee programs ran by thirdparty vendors. This includes food delivery, organizing events, providingtransportation, or mail distribution. Ensure all invoices for business servicesbilled.
- Ensure support provided by theteam is efficient and consistent.
- Lead by example and modelbehaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties ofshared interests to reach an agreement.
- Apply knowledge of owndiscipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team anddepartmental objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, andresolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not beevident in existing systems and processes.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferredwith 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination ofexperience and education will be considered.
- Experience in the areas ofstaffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring,appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
- Ability to guide the exchangeof sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performanceexpectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivateteam impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline anddepartment.
- In-depth knowledge of MicrosoftOffice products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Extensive organizational skillswith a strong inquisitive mindset.
