Job Description

A career in immigration practice will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients adopt a more strategic approach to global entity governance across their organizations. We help our clients to meet and manage their immigration obligations and solve complex problems. Our team specializes in providing immigration support across all of our clients disciplines. You will advise clients on their local and overseas immigration issues and exposures.

This role is focused on assisting with the immigration requirements of our clients employees. It involves ensuring adherence to Immigration Laws and Regulations and delivering outstanding client service. The caseworker plays a vital role, whether they are assigned to a global account or a specific geographic region. They engage in close collaboration with clients, individual employees, legal teams, government entities, and various stakeholders. This collaboration is essential for facilitating efficient and well-coordinated immigration processes. The caseworker's responsibilities are crucial in managing the complexities of immigration procedures and ensuring successful outcomes for all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients seeking immigration advisory and processing support.
  • Assess and understand each client's unique immigration needs and develop tailored immigration strategies and solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end immigration lifecycle for employees, including visa applications, work permits, and related processes.
  • Prepare, review, and submit immigration forms, petitions, and supporting documentation with accuracy and full regulatory compliance.
  • Interpret and apply immigration laws and regulations to ensure client compliance and mitigate potential legal risks.
  • Advise clients on immigration procedures, timelines, potential challenges, and risk considerations.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and secure case files ensuring audit readiness and easy accessibility of documentation.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness by recording time efficiently, supporting billing activities, and identifying scope variations.
  • Liaise with network offices, third-party providers, consulates, embassies, and immigration authorities to stay updated on regulatory changes and monitor case progress.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Proactively manage and resolve unexpected issues during the immigration or implementation process.
  • Provide regular case status updates and inform clients of relevant changes in immigration rules or policies.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and analytical techniques to extract insights from market and industry trends.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the training and development of junior team members on case management, immigration forms, and regulatory processes.
  • Stay up to date with immigration laws, regulatory updates, and policy developments.
  • Assist in the implementation and usage of relevant technology platforms, depending on the service line.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor degree
  • Required Fields of Study: Business Administration, Business Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related field
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 0 to 6 years of relevant experiences
  • Certification(s) Required: Nil
