Import/Export Job Opening in KL!
Your new company
My client is one of the world's largest chemical manufacturing companies with a well-established shared service centre. They are currently expanding the supply chain hub on a global scale and looking for an Import Export Executive (APAC) to be part of their team in KL.
Your new role
- Manage end-to-end import/export operations across APAC, ensuring timely, compliant, and accurate shipments.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, business units, and customs brokers for efficient operations.
- Oversee customs processes, documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks for assigned countries.
- Maintain proper document archiving per company and regulatory standards.
- Escalate and resolve shipment deviations to meet delivery timelines.
- Ensure service levels and quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Monitor service provider performance against KPIs and support periodic reviews.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree / Diploma (with relevant work experience) in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in handling Import/Export logistics with a customs and trade compliance background, liaison with logistics service providers.
- Knowledge of the SAP system (TM/ SD/ MM Module) is preferred. Experience of using Cobalt or S4 Hana.
