Job Descriptions
- Manage the full logistics process for Kuala Lumpur projects, including sea and air freight booking, import and export customs clearance, goods pickup and warehouse management.
- Coordinate logistics connection between the project site and domestic supply chain to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project materials.
- Connect with local forwarders, customs, shipping companies and trucking service providers, establish and maintain stable cooperative relationships to ensure smooth logistics channels.
- Cooperate with on-site Chinese engineers in material deployment, and respond promptly to emergency shipment demands to support smooth project construction.
- Control logistics costs by conducting inquiry and price comparison, and continuously optimize transportation plans and methods to reduce project logistics expenses.
- Maintain logistics ledgers, compile regular reports and update KPI data to ensure authentic, accurate and traceable logistics data.
Job Requirements
- Over 3 years of relevant logistics working experience, proficient in at least two core business links among sea freight, air freight, customs clearance and warehousing.
- Proficient in oral and written English and Mandarin, able to take English as working language and communicate with overseas agents independently.
- Familiar with Malaysian customs policies and local import & export procedures is preferred.
- Practical logistics experience in overseas projects, EPC engineering or manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Working experience in local logistics or forwarding companies in Malaysia is a plus.
Location: Klang, Selangor
Working Hours: Mon - Fri (9:00AM - 6:00PM), Sat (9:00AM - 1:00PM)
Salary Range: RM6,000 - 9,000
