We are currently seeking a mid-level experienced lawyer with excellent academic credentials and solid general Corporate and/or Commercial experience with one or more leading international law firms and/or leading multinational corporations.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified lawyer with at least 3 years PQE, gained at a leading international or reputable local law firm in Malaysia or another Commonwealth jurisdiction.
- Have strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of corporate and commercial agreements, including share purchase agreements (SPAs), distribution agreements, licensing agreements, franchise agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), procurement contracts, and other commercial contracts.
- Demonstrate experience advising multinational clients on a variety of regional and cross-border corporate and commercial matters.
- Possess excellent technical legal skills, a commercial mindset, and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Be a collaborative team player with a client-focused mindset, a strong academic background, and excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality legal advice in a multinational or international environment.
