Pay: 3,000.00 (MYR) - 5,000.00 (MYR) per month Job description: Key Responsibilities - Perform incoming inspection on raw materials, components, and parts according to inspection plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable).
- Verify supplier documentation including Certificate of Analysis (COA), material certifications, and packing lists.
- Record inspection results accurately in quality systems and inspection reports.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials issue NCRs and follow up with suppliers for corrective actions.
- Support supplier quality management activities, including supplier audits and performance monitoring when required.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Purchasing teams to ensure timely material release and minimize production delays.
- Maintain proper handling, storage, and traceability of inspected materials.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities related to quality processes and defect reduction.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and company quality standards.
Requirements - Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in IQC or quality inspection within manufacturing (semiconductor or precision machining experience preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with basic quality tools (7QC tools, SPC, NCR, 8D is an advantage).
- Hands-on experience using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Must have knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Good attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Willingness to work shifts if required.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, quality systems).
Preferred Skills (Advantage) - Experience with semiconductor, ceramics, quartz, or precision metal components.
- Knowledge of GD&T.
- Supplier quality management experience.
- SAP or ERP system exposure.
