To conduct independent review of discretionary / judgmental credit exposures under Wholesale Banking and Commercial Banking to inter alia; assess the quality of credit assessment, adequacy of information presented, compliance with internal credit policies & guidelines as well as regulatory and legal requirements;
To engage with Relationship Managers, Risk Reviewers, Policy Owners, System Owners and other stakeholders to obtain their feedback on review observations;
To prepare reports on the outcome of review for tabling to management and board committees;
To follow up on resolution of issues highlighted;
To assist Head of ICR to strengthen the department IT and data analytics capability; and
To undertake all other administrative duties in connection with the review or as shall be directed by the Head of ICR.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Banking, Economics, Accountancy, Business or other related fields;
Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or Business Credit Professional (BCP);
More than 12 years experience in the capacity as Relationship Manager or Credit Risk Reviewer for Wholesale / Commercial Banking;
Excellent problem solving and strong analytical skills;
High attention to detail and committed to produce high quality work;
Excellent oral and written communication; and
Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability.
