Essential Responsibilities:-
End-to-end management and coordination with internal stakeholders for preparation and completion of monthly / quarterly indirect tax compliances for ME region such as VAT, Withholding taxes, GST and etc.
Reconciling all balance sheet tax accounts monthly and any other duties as required
Documenting and communicating abnormal tax expenses to Operations and Management.
Able to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations
Identify and drive automation projects, process improvements which increase efficiency and scalability of data.
Streamline audit management turnaround of data in response to tax notices.
Coordinate information requests with internal and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely closure of tax reporting deliverables.
Keeping the company abreast of all legal taxation matters that could have an impact of the running of a successful tax practice i.e., audits, tax updates.
Resolving or escalating any queries or issues received and support all Tax and statutory audits
Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-
Years of experience: 2 years
Field of experience: Indirect Tax/ other taxes experience for any tax jurisdiction.
Technical Skills: Possess good analytical skills with proactive mind-set
Soft Skills: SAP, Oracle
Tools or Software (Required): MS Office, SAP
Education Qualifications: Have bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Audit, or related field. Professional qualification ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalent is an advantage.
