Job Description:

Welcome and support International Patients - especially Indonesian-speaking patients and their families upon arrival, ensuring a warm, seamless, and culturally sensitive experience.

Interpret accurately between patients, consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in both Indonesian and English, including during consultations, diagnostics, admissions, and discharge discussions.

Provide personalised support for international VIP patients while upholding professional service standards consistent with the hospital's expectations for premium patient experience.

Guide patients through registration, appointment flow, payment processes, hospital navigation, and essential care steps such as medical instructions, procedures, consent forms, financial counselling, and follow-up arrangements.

Accompany patients safely to various service areas, ensuring timely movement between points of care.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and service delivery, including supporting administrative tasks such as appointment reminders, basic document translation, and form completion.

Highlight patient concerns or service gaps to the supervisor for follow-up and improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Fluent in Indonesian and English (spoken, reading, writing). Ability to interpret accurately and handle medical or technical terms is an advantage.
  • Able to walk or stand for prolonged periods as the role involves accompanying patients across various hospital areas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-focused service approach. Able to handle difficult situations professionally.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality, customer service, or international patient services is an added advantage.
  • High level of integrity, cultural sensitivity, and confidentiality. Good teamwork and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology, hospital processes, or prior work in a clinical environment.
