Industrial Airflow Engineer
Location : Seremban (Negeri Sembilan)
Salary : RM7000
Key Responsibilities :
Design, evaluate, and optimize industrial airflow distribution and ventilation performance within the project area.
Review and verify ducting layouts, airflow calculations, air balancing requirements, and ventilation system performance.
Coordinate with HVAC, electrical, and mechanical teams to ensure proper integration of airflow-related systems.
Analyze and resolve airflow-related issues including uneven air distribution, pressure imbalance, heat accumulation, ventilation inefficiency, and operational instability.
Conduct airflow testing, measurement, system balancing, and performance verification during installation and commissioning stages.
Ensure proper control of:
Airflow velocity
Air circulation
Air exchange rate
Temperature distribution
Pressure differentials
Ventilation effectiveness
Supervise on-site installation and adjustment of ducts, dampers, ventilation equipment, diffusers, exhaust systems, and related HVAC components.
Support commissioning activities and ensure HVAC systems achieve required operational and environmental performance standards.
Prepare and review technical reports, airflow analysis data, inspection records, commissioning reports, and site verification documents.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during construction, testing, and operational stages.
Ensure all works comply with project specifications, engineering standards, operational safety requirements, and site inspection criteria.
Required Expertise & Special Skills
Strong technical knowledge in industrial ventilation systems, airflow engineering, and HVAC performance optimization.
Experience in airflow simulation, duct static pressure analysis, and ventilation balancing for industrial facilities.
Hands-on experience in HVAC commissioning, TAB (Testing, Adjusting & Balancing), and industrial airflow troubleshooting.
Familiarity with industrial plant environments, retrofit/renovation projects, and constrained operational spaces.
Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary systems involving HVAC, ducting, electrical, and process equipment.
Knowledge of industrial environmental control standards and ventilation safety requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Engineering, HVAC Engineering (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), or other related engineering disciplines.
* 2–5 years of relevant working experience.
