Lead the automation and digitization of tasks for enhanced performance and efficiency (paperless audits, paperless traceability tools, automated quality control tools, etc).
Lead Project Management and Continuous Improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing techniques, redesign of process flow, improvement of ergonomic and working conditions, documentation associated).
Train all relevant stakeholders (especially Team Leaders and Operation employees) on the mastery of skills regarding new technologies deployed to improve productivity (paperless audits, automated data collection).
Monitor equipment and processes and ensure recording of process parameters.
Provide manufacturing Kpis such as Intro rate, lead times, OLE, OEE and SOT.
Collaborate with appropriate sites or departments to investigate and resolve complex concerns in timely manner.
Continuously pursue knowledge of benchmark processes and practices and encourage application within SLS Malaysia.
Lead the efforts to achieve continuous improvement and performance objectives in the areas of throughput, delivery, cost, quality, and safety.
Develop and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with both internal and external customer.
Adhere and actively participate in occupational Safety, Health and Environmental policies, Energy policies procedures and activities such as I-See I-Act, GPI, low carbon initiative etc.
Adhere and comply with Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Flight Safety Management System, and others relevant policies, procedures and activities.
Perform other related duties as required.
Key Requirements:
Possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any equivalent field or applicable experience.
Minimum 2 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
Experience in automation, robotic and digitalisation field.
Excellent oral and written communication skills of English language.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VBA macros)
Knowledge on data analysis tools such as PowerBI, SQL queries would be a strong plus.
