We are seeking experienced Informatica System Analysts to support enterprise data warehousing initiatives within the banking domain. The role involves system analysis, solution design, ETL development, and L2/L3 production support across complex data platforms including Informatica, Teradata, Hadoop, and Oracle. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into scalable, high-quality data solutions while ensuring data integrity and adherence to governance standards.
Informatica Certification is mandatory, along with hands-on experience in Teradata (TD) or Hadoop (HD) & Oracle — any one is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- System Analysis & Solution Design — Perform end-to-end system analysis, solution design, and implementation for Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) projects. Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.
- ETL Development & Optimization — Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter / IICS. Ensure accurate extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various source systems into target databases. Optimize ETL processes for performance and data quality.
- L2/L3 Production Support — Provide L2/L3 support including incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance tuning of data pipelines. Monitor and troubleshoot production issues related to ETL jobs and data integration failures.
- Data Modeling & Mapping — Design and review data models, data marts, data flows, and data mappings aligned with business requirements. Work on OLTP and OLAP processes to ensure efficient data retrieval and reporting.
- Data Platform Management — Support and manage data platforms including Teradata, Hadoop (Hive), and Oracle (at least one). Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across data lake and warehouse environments.
- Governance & Compliance — Ensure adherence to SDLC, ITSM/ITSC, and data governance standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, transformations, and technical designs.
- Automation & CI/CD — Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Work with CI/CD tools (Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket) for deployment and release management.
- Stakeholder Collaboration — Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Participate in Agile sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
- Mentoring — Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices in ETL development, data integration, and system analysis.
Skills Requirements
- Informatica (Certified) Informatica Certification is mandatory. Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter / IICS (Data Integration, CDI, CAI, CDQ).
- Teradata OR Hadoop (Hive) & Oracle Hands-on experience in at least one: Teradata (TD) or Hadoop (HD/Hive) & Oracle. Any one is mandatory.
- SQL & PL/SQL Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation, querying, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Data Warehousing Concepts Strong knowledge of data modeling, data marts, star/snowflake schema, SCD Type-1 & Type-2, and ETL best practices.
- Banking / Financial Domain Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is mandatory.
- SDLC & Release Management Understanding of SDLC, release management, IT support processes, and governance standards.
- Unix/Linux Shell Scripting Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting for automation and scheduling.
