ABOUT THE ROLE

The Information Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring our company's data accuracy and quality. In this position, you will be responsible for meticulously entering and organizing information into our databases and systems. You'll be the bridge between various data sources and ECRI's databases, ensuring all information is captured, formatted, and stored correctly in order for our clients to make informed decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately input and maintain data from various sources into our designated systems.
  • Utilize ECRI databases or other online resources to conduct in-depth research on healthcare technology and related topics.
  • Meticulously review entered data for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
  • Conduct research to obtain missing details and ensure data quality.
  • Organize and categorize data according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain and update existing data records, ensuring all information is current and complete.
  • Generate basic reports and summaries as needed, using assigned software tools.
  • Follow established data entry protocols and maintain strict data confidentiality standards.
  • Meet daily and weekly quotas for updating database content.
  • Maintain accuracy of greater than 99% for all data entry and curation tasks
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues in US office by routinely providing updates.
  • Perform additional task assigned by superior when required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in any healthcare related discipline, e.g. biomedical sciences, biotechnology etc.
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in a related field. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite of products.
