Role Overview:
We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator to manage and optimise Profit Peak's internal systems, ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations, and support our team with secure, reliable technology infrastructure. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of performance, security, and compliance across our organisation including leading our SOC 2 compliance implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain internal IT systems, applications, and hardware.
- Manage employee onboarding/offboarding processes (account setup, permissions, access management).
- Ensure data security through system monitoring, regular backups, and patch management.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of SOC 2 compliance requirements.
- Develop, document, and enforce IT policies, standards, and security protocols.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with external vendors where required.
- Support SaaS integrations, user accounts, and license management (Google Workspace, Slack, Shopify ecosystem tools, etc.).
- Provide helpdesk support for staff (hardware, software, connectivity).
- Assist in scaling IT infrastructure to support company growth and remote/hybrid teams.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security and data protection requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in IT administration or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS/Azure).
- Experience with SaaS management and user access controls.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards.
- Experience with SOC 2 (implementation, audits, or ongoing compliance) highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with device management (Windows, MacOS, mobile).
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
