Role overview:
The Local IT Coordinator (LIC) is responsible for supporting all IT products including but not limited to digital workplace and enterprise applications for the respective departments. This role ensures smooth IT operations, asset management, user support, and coordination of IT initiatives, acting as the single point of contact (SPOC) for IT-related matters within the business department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT assets ensuring accurate inventory and assist Head of Department to plan for timely deployment of IT equipment.
- Oversee software asset management, including installation, updates, and license reconciliation.
- Provide frontline IT support for staff, resolving issues and escalating to ITD when necessary.
- Assist new employees with account setup, email, token access, and onboarding to IT systems.
- Support enterprise applications (ERP, eMRO, CRM, HRIS, SAP B1) use by business department and coordinate with central IT teams.
- Maintain Active Directory groups, user access rights, and logon script configurations.
- Support and develop digital workplace tools (Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, collaboration apps, power automate).
- Promote the adoption of IT systems and digital productivity tools within respective departments.
- Manage user access control for all IT enterprise systems and document libraries of respective business departments.
- Monitor and optimize usage of file servers and SharePoint storage.
- Act as SPOC for IT initiatives, gathering feedback and driving awareness of IT projects within business departments.
- Support emerging digital technologies and workplace innovation to enhance safety, quality, productivity and cost efficiency.
- Any other IT related functions when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years experience in IT, digital workplace, or application support.
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, Aviation, or MRO is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, HRIS/HRMS, and/or Financial Systems.
- Strong knowledge of computer technologies, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, IAM, Office 365, Collaboration Tools (Teams, SharePoint), Power Automate, Power App, SaaS, IoT, Cybersecurity.
- Experience with PC (Laptop and Desktop) Management and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Familiarity with data analytics/visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire) is a plus.
- Ability to adopt and implement new digital tools and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in leading or driving IT projects.
- Dynamic, highly committed, and able to work well under pressure in highly regulated and business critical environments.
