About the Role
This role focuses on security operations, risk management, compliance, and incident response to protect systems, networks, and data.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily IT security operations, monitoring, and incident response
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and produce incident reports
- Identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation actions
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, patch management, and coordinate penetration testing
- Design, implement, and manage security controls for network, system, and application security
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and remediation tracking
- Act as in-house IT security SME and support security-related projects
- Deliver security awareness training and phishing simulations
- Provide after-hours support for critical security incidents when required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Security, or equivalent experience
- 812 years of hands-on IT security experience
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of network and security technologies (Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, VPN, WAF, Zero Trust, O365 security, etc.)
- Experience in incident response, vulnerability management, audits, and compliance
Preferred Skills
- Security certifications (CISSP, CRISC, CEH, GIAC, etc.) are an advantage
