Infra and DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Junior Infra & DevOps Engineer to support on-premise infrastructure and DevOps operations for OpenText AppWorks BPM environments. The role focuses on maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting infrastructure stability, and enabling application deployments using DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in on-prem DevOps environments and exposure to BPM platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of OpenText AppWorks BPM environments
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Perform infrastructure support in on-premise environments (non-cloud)
• Manage source control and versioning using Bitbucket
• Develop and maintain scripts using Bash and Windows batch scripting
• Support application deployments and environment setup activities
• Work with MS SQL Server for basic database support and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth releases
• Monitor system performance and assist in incident resolution

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure support roles
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines (mandatory)
• Strong experience in on-prem DevOps environments (non-cloud)
• Experience with OpenText AppWorks BPM infrastructure
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash and Windows batch scripting)
• Experience with Bitbucket for source control management
• Basic SQL knowledge with MS SQL Server experience
• Understanding of Java, JavaScript, and SQL (supporting role usage)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in infrastructure environments

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to IBM Datacap, BPM, Case Manager, BAW, or FileNet
• Understanding of business process management (BPM) concepts
• Experience supporting enterprise workflow or case management systems
• Familiarity with release management and ITIL processes
• Basic knowledge of application monitoring and logging tools
• Exposure to Agile or DevOps delivery methodologies
