The Infrastructure Consultant will be responsible for designing, building, migrating, and operating Azure-based infrastructure using DevOps and InfrastructureasCode (IaC) practices. The role requires hands-on Azure expertise, strong CI/CD skills, and experience supporting enterprisescale workloads with security, compliance, and operational excellence.
Azure Infrastructure & Repatriation
- Design and implement Application Landing Zones aligned to CUSTOMER security, networking, and governance standards.
- Plan and execute repatriation of applications and platforms from onpremises / hosted / hyperscale environments to Azure.
- Configure and manage Azure services including Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, App Services, AKS, Storage, and Compute.
- Support hybrid and migration scenarios using Azure Migrate, Site Recovery, VPN, and ExpressRoute.
DevOps & Automation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Automate environment provisioning, configuration, and patching.
- Enable deployment strategies such as bluegreen, canary, and rolling updates.
Security Governance & Compliance
- Implement Azure security best practices using Azure Policy, RBAC, Managed Identities, Defender for Cloud, and Key Vault.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Support identity and access integration with Azure Entra ID (Azure AD).
Operation & Reliability
- Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
- Provide operational support, troubleshooting, rootcause analysis, and incident resolution.
- Participate in hyper care and stabilization activities postmigration.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with application teams, security teams, network teams, and architects.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, deployment documents, runbooks, and SOPs.
- Support knowledge transfer and handover to operations teams.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Azure & Infrastructure
- 58 years of experience in Infrastructure / Cloud Engineering
- Strong handson experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with enterprise-scale Azure deployments and migrations
DevOps & Automation
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
- Handson with IaC (Bicep / ARM / Terraform)
- Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Security & Networking
- Good understanding of Azure networking, security, and identity
- Experience implementing secure-by-design cloud architectures
