Infrastructure Specialist IAM // SiteminderMission- The IAM SME in Asia is responsible to onboard / evolve and support services based out of Asia to ensure IAM's extension in Asia and footprint and to improve services delivered in Asia IT globally.
- The SME will be part of IAM’s Competency Center team in charge of providing IAM expertise, managing IAM’s onboarding and operations and contributing technically to the lifecycle of the services.
- This resource will be the preferred contact for IAM topics in Asia but may also work on IAM topics for other regions as a standard team member of IAM’s shared Competency Center.
Responsibilities- To onboard new client projects
- To provide support during the demand management process, analysing fit of the current use case and scoping the Competency Center effort to execute the demand.
- To deploy the service to the client.
- To build and maintain the service packages (“onboarding guidesâ€) facilitating service expansion towards new customers.
- To provide the L3 support and Problem management
- To coordinate, write and regularly review the operational procedures specific to the service.
- Training towards BAU teams, incl. skills transfer with respect to processes, methodologies and best practices.
- To manage the lifecycle of the services
- To provide the engineering and the detailed design of the service for the implementation/evolution of the service.
- To go back to the Design Authority to plan any major change (lifecycle, new functionality, problem resolution or other),
- To interface and interact with the solution supplier on technical & functional topics
- Analysis of service KPIs and propose improvements.
- Ensure proper documentation of product detailed design & installation + validate configuration and testing
- Perform impact analysis of IT technology changes, in a pro-active way.
- Guarantee the service is hardened & operated in a secured way, according to the company's security guidelines.
Requirements- 5 years of proven successful experience in using one or more of the following technologies in a large scale organization in a Shared-Service setup : CA SiteMinder/Single Sign On, CA Layer 7/API Management, CA Authminder/Strong Authentication, identity management/OLDAP with foundation knowledge in HTTP/AD/Scripting/Rest APIs/SSL/TLS…
- Proven ability to translate a high-level architecture into a secured, at the right cost and easy-to-operate detailed design.
- Familiar with ITIL concepts and, preferably, the way ITIL is deployed within the company
- Ability to communicate and negotiate in an international / multi-cultural environment.
- Be a strong contributor / driving force behind the “continuous improvement†objective of the services toward automation.
- Fluent written & spoken English and a second language a plus.
Skills- Close collaboration with the company on ongoing client demands and handover initiatives
- Preferred interface for IAM with key stakeholders in Asia (on specific IAM demands and on IAM services globally): client demand owners, service delivery / component managers, program managers, PMO, operations, security…
- Interactions within IAM with Design Authority and Program teams and with other Competency Center team’s members
